Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to iPost AI. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and iPost AI ("iPost AI," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the iPost AI platform — including the website at ipostai.com, the iOS and Android mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, completing onboarding, or clicking "I Agree," you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference).

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age. Users aged 13–17 require verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• Be at least 18 years of age to enter into a paid subscription.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet all eligibility requirements. iPost AI may suspend or terminate accounts that do not.

COPPA: iPost AI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Age confirmation during onboarding is logged with timestamp and IP address as required by COPPA. If we discover an account was created by a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Account Registration

3.1 Passwordless Authentication

iPost AI uses email OTP (one-time passcode) for login — there are no passwords. You agree to provide an accurate email address and to keep your registered email current.

3.2 Account Security

Your session token is stored on your device using Expo SecureStore (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Notify us immediately at support@ipostai.com if you suspect unauthorized access. iPost AI is not liable for losses arising from your failure to secure your device.

3.3 One Account Per User

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits, usage caps, or the 14-day reverse trial is prohibited and may result in all accounts being permanently suspended.

3.4 Brand Soul Profile Accuracy

Information you provide during onboarding — business type, voice adjectives, differentiator statement, and audience archetype — is used to generate your Brand Soul Profile and is sent to Anthropic's Claude API as prompt context. You warrant this information accurately represents your actual business.

3.5 ToS Acceptance Logging

Your acceptance of these Terms during onboarding is logged to our compliance database with your timestamp and IP address as required by applicable law.

Subscription Plans, Billing & AI Credits

4.1 Plans

Additional Team plan seats are available at $15/month per user. Plan features and limits are detailed at ipostai.com/pricing and may be updated with notice.

4.2 14-Day Reverse Trial

New users receive full Pro-tier access for 14 days at no charge. After 14 days, accounts automatically downgrade to the Free tier unless a paid subscription is activated. No credit card is required to start. Creating additional accounts to restart the trial period is prohibited.

4.3 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle via Stripe's web-based checkout. By providing payment details, you authorize iPost AI (through Stripe) to charge the applicable fee. All fees are in US dollars.

4.4 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancel anytime via account settings.

4.5 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Cancelling a paid plan retains access through the end of the current billing period. Contact support@ipostai.com within 7 days of an annual billing charge if you believe a billing error occurred.

4.6 AI Credit Packs

Credit Packs allow users to purchase additional AI post generation capacity beyond their plan's monthly limits:

• 50 credits — $9
• 150 credits — $19
• 400 credits — $39

Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire 12 months from purchase date.

4.7 Price Changes

We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect on your existing subscription.

4.8 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. iPost AI never stores your credit card number or CVV. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe's web-based checkout — not through Apple or Google in-app purchases — to provide you with the lowest possible processing fees. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

4.9 Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes (sales tax, VAT, GST) on your purchases.

The Brand Soul Engine™ & AI-Generated Content

5.1 How It Works

iPost AI uses Anthropic's Claude API (Claude Haiku for Brand Soul Profile generation; Claude Sonnet for post generation and Voice Match scoring) to generate social media content personalized to your brand voice. Your Brand Soul Profile is injected as RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) context on every content generation call, so every post is grounded in your specific voice fingerprint, vocabulary, and content pillars.

5.2 Your Review Responsibility

All AI-generated content is a starting draft. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and publishing any content generated by the Service. iPost AI is not liable for content you choose to publish.

5.3 Personalization Flags

Posts may include [ADD: ...] or [INSERT: ...] placeholders marking details the AI cannot fill. Do not publish posts without completing these fields. Publishing incomplete flagged content is your responsibility.

5.4 Anti-AI-Slop Filter

All generated output is automatically scanned server-side against a 40+ banned-word vocabulary list (including "delve," "leverage," "game-changer," etc.) and replaced with natural alternatives before content reaches your screen.

5.5 Voice Match Score™

The Voice Match Score is an internal product metric — computed by comparing generated text embeddings against your Brand Soul Profile embeddings — indicating how closely a post matches your brand voice. It is a product feature and informational signal, not a legal or commercial guarantee.

5.6 3 Variations Always

Every AI generation request produces 3 distinct caption variations. You always choose — you are never required to publish any AI-generated output as-is.

5.7 No Guarantee of Results

iPost AI does not guarantee any specific business outcomes, including increased followers, engagement rates, reach, or revenue from using the Service.

Human Moments Library

6.1 Moment Types

You may upload content to fuel post generation as Human Moments: photos (processed via Cloudinary and Google Vision), voice notes (transcribed via OpenAI Whisper and then deleted), customer DM text, text ideas, data insights, and campaign briefs. This content is used exclusively to generate your personalized posts.

6.2 Your Content Responsibility

You warrant that you own or have all necessary rights and consents for content you upload, including customer messages. You must not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property or violates privacy laws (e.g., pasting someone's private DM without their consent is your legal responsibility).

6.3 Voice Note Audio

Audio files are transmitted to OpenAI Whisper for transcription only. The audio file is permanently deleted immediately after transcription completes. The text transcription is retained until you delete the moment.

User Content & Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to the Service and all AI-generated content produced for your account using your Brand Soul Profile and Human Moments.

7.2 License to iPost AI

By uploading content, you grant iPost AI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account.

7.3 iPost AI IP

The Brand Soul Engine™, Voice Match Score™, anti-AI-slop filter, all software, algorithms, interfaces, trademarks, and proprietary methodologies are the exclusive intellectual property of iPost AI. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

7.4 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant iPost AI the right to use that feedback without compensation or attribution.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate or publish content that is false, defamatory, harassing, abusive, obscene, or unlawful.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person.
• Impersonate any individual, business, or entity.
• Generate spam, phishing content, or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, free trial restrictions, or subscription tier limits by any technical means, including creating multiple accounts.
• Craft prompts designed to bypass the Brand Soul Engine™ safety filters, Claude's content policy, or iPost AI's prompt injection guard.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or tools not authorized by iPost AI to access the Service.
• Use the Service to train competing AI models, harvest prompts, or reverse-engineer iPost AI's voice-learning methodology.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to iPost AI's database, APIs, or infrastructure.
• Violate the terms of service of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, or any other platform to which you publish content using iPost AI.
• Generate content that promotes illegal activity, violence, hate speech, or discrimination.

Social Platform Integrations

9.1 Connected Accounts

iPost AI allows you to connect social accounts (Phase 1: Instagram and Facebook via Meta Content Publishing API; Phase 2: LinkedIn and X; Phase 2: TikTok via TikTok for Business API) to schedule and publish approved posts. By connecting an account, you authorize iPost AI to act on your behalf in accordance with each platform's terms of service.

9.2 OAuth Token Security

Social OAuth tokens are encrypted at the database level using pgcrypto and decrypted only inside server-side Edge Functions. They are never transmitted to your device.

9.3 Meta App Review

Instagram and Facebook publishing features are subject to Meta's App Review process. Availability may depend on Meta's approval status and ongoing compliance requirements.

9.4 Platform Compliance

You remain responsible for complying with the terms of service of all connected platforms. iPost AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, LinkedIn, X Corp, Google, or TikTok.

9.5 Disconnecting

Disconnect any social account at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts. Upon disconnection, iPost AI immediately revokes access and permanently deletes the stored OAuth token for that account.

9.6 Platform Outages

iPost AI is not responsible for failed posts due to third-party API outages, rate limits imposed by platforms, or platform policy changes that restrict publishing access.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless iPost AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you upload or publish; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (e) any content you post to social platforms using iPost AI.

Termination

13.1 By You

Cancel your account at any time via account settings or by emailing support@ipostai.com. Paid plan access continues through the end of the current billing period.

13.2 By Us

iPost AI may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, non-payment, or if required by law.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, access ceases immediately. Your data is soft-deleted (login blocked) and permanently hard-deleted within 30 days via an automated scheduled process. All connected social platform OAuth tokens are revoked at the time of soft deletion. You may request a data export during the 30-day window by emailing hello@ipostai.com.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

14.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, contact us at hello@ipostai.com and allow 30 days for informal resolution.

14.3 Arbitration

General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and iPost AI.

15.2 Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

15.3 Waiver

Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15.5 Force Majeure

iPost AI is not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including third-party API outages (Meta, LinkedIn, Anthropic, Stripe, OpenAI).
